Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (AG Bell)

Promotes the use of spoken language by children and adults with hearing loss. AG Bell members range from adults who are deaf or hard of hearing to educators, audiologists, and other professionals in fields related to hearing loss and deafness.

American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)

ASHA is the professional, scientific, and credentialing association for 145,000 members and affiliates who are audiologists, speech-language pathologists and speech, language, and hearing scientists.

American Tinnitus Association (ATA)

The ATA strives to build tinnitus (ringing or other sounds in the ears) awareness, prevention, and treatment through education, advocacy, research and support.

The International Hearing Society (IHS) is a membership association that represents hearing healthcare professionals worldwide. IHS members are engaged in the practice of testing human hearing and selecting, fitting and dispensing hearing instruments and counseling patients. Founded in 1951

National Institute on Deafness (NIDCD)

Established in 1988, NIDCD is mandated to conduct and support biomedical and behavioral research and research training in the normal and disordered processes of hearing, balance, smell, taste, voice, speech, and language.
